Rapture Media is located and licensed in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2007 by our primary photographer, Darwin Bebo. It was his goal to give photographers an outlet to showcase their own exclusive art while also providing their photographic expertise with services like digital restorations, event coverage, portraits and portfolios. This remains our goal as we are working on two new websites to offer these services.

The first site will offer the photography services along with galleries of exclusive art available for purchase. We are actively reviewing hundreds of photos, in both 35mm and digital, and creating high-quality digital images that will be available for print and download in a variety of sizes. It is scheduled to have this site up and running in early 2009. In the meantime, we can still offer such services, simply contact us and we will get back with you.

The second site will highlight the male physique with membership options offering gallery images of men. This site will be adult rated as it will include both nude and non-nude portfolios. It is possible that the site may expand at some point to also include video.

On the surface, we may sound like every other photography company out there. But we do not feel that quality of art should fall victim to mass production. We aim to treat every piece as its own masterpiece by providing a higher quality product even if it does cost a bit more and take a littler bit longer to create. We aim to do it right.

Darwin Bebo

Darwin has been interested in photography since early in his high school days. He took several classes and found the whole aspect of taking a photo fascinating. Over the past 20-some years he has fine-tuned his skills on 35mm cameras opting to use the manual settings as opposed to automatic ones. He even refused to go digital until such time that the cameras caught up with the art of film - which it now has. He is still a firm believier that a photo can capture a moment more than a video ever could. And until recently, his photography had always remained a hobby and only ended up as artwork on his own walls despite many years of people telling him that he should go professional and share the work. But, as with most people, he was afraid that his hobby would not pay the bills and he didn't want to loose interest in his hobby by making it work. However, after 20 years in the corporate world, succeeding at business analysis and being the president of a non-profit organization, he has realized that just paying the bills is no longer enough. It was time for him to go with his heart and joy - photography. When asked for his credentials, he simply says "look at my work, it speaks for itself".

Other Photographers

Rapture Media is working out deals with a few photographers. When those deals become actual contracts, we will add additional profiles here.
